Vision Forum's San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival, Day 2, was a long (and interesting) day. In the early afternoon, we had the privilege of hearing Dr. R.C. Sproul, Jr., lecture, which, as always, is a treat for those who will stay to listen. We were not disappointed in this second of of his lectures delivered at the festival.
Sorry for the blurry picture above.
On our way back to the hotel, we stopped over a bridge to look over this scene. I grabbed the camera as fast as I could, but still missed a perfect photo op with a bird taking flight over the water. Bummer! So I took pictures of my brothers taking a moment to contemplate the scene, and who look a little nervous at this point in the day. Finalist results were only a few hours away...

If, this would have been a "normal" day I would have captioned these pics:
Hunter "ummm, Mom, no really, I wasn't thinking about diving in... ummm really, Mom, really!!"
Parker "bummer!! Mom won't let us go swimming. It's really not that far down, Mom. And yes, our clothes are washable and so are we - the river is not THAT dirty."
Well, maybe they wouldn't think these things - but my boys that close to water would :)

Judging from the looks on their faces, I think they would rather have been in the water than in so much suspense at that point. :-)
It certainly looks as though they were contemplating it, huh? ;-)
Should ya'll ever go to San Antonio, we will have to provide your boys with personal body guards - you can just step into the water if you so desire. No railings or anything... :-) IMHO, that is a very dangerous thing for young, adventurous tourists.
Body Guards?!?! That's a great idea - and I'm sure that my guys would like that. I wonder who Parker would have to guard ;)Hunter could take Joseph - but that leaves Nathanael and Landon together - they would probably stage a scene where they both "accidentally" tripped and fell in :)
Do you remember when Joseph ended up in the water at the botanical gardens - that was 4 years ago!!!
